Montage 2011: "What If?"

Welcome to Montage 2011: What If? Official Website!

2011 presents a new decade of endless possibilities for us. The question of “What If?” (Possibilities) poses itself to us in special ways that only photographs could express, that we ourselves as mere humans cannot. Photography after all, is all about story telling.

Each person bears a subjective interpretation to photographs and photography; it is through the power of suggestion that our works can be viewed as more than just captured moments in space and time. As photographers, we possess the ability to steer our audience into a specific directions of thought, or to provoke an inquisitive psyche upon them. We can invoke emotions and question conventions through photography, and of which, ultimately we can incite action, reaction and even change.

This year, the Photographic Society of NUS (NUSPS) is pleased to present Montage 2011. Join us and delve into the wonderful world of photography. Grab your camera and express your message in images through the competition. Immerse yourself in others’ stories as you view the exhibitions. Pick up tips as the workshop instructors share with you insights into the intricacies of the photographic world. Be engaged as our speakers share their stories. Let your journey begin!
