General

1. I am having difficulties submitting my photographs online. What should I do?

Please email us at itdirector@nusps.org.sg with your entry and details or problems faced. We will do our best to reply you as soon as possible.
Alternatively, please kindly send your submission to submission@montage.sg with the following details:
- Name
- Gender
- NRIC/FIN Number
- Date of Birth
- Address, Postal Code(optional)
- Contact Number (Handphone, Home)
- Email Address
- Category (Youth / Open / Photo Story)

For each photo entry, please furnish the following details:
- Name of photo (ie: entry1.jpg)
- Accompanying caption (optional)

2. Can I submit the same photograph for both Youth and Photo Story Competition?

No, please ensure that each entry submitted is unique.

3. How much will it cost to participate?

Entry to the competition is free of charge.

4. If I take part in the Youth/Open Category, can I still participate in the Photo Story Category?

Yes, you may.

5. How will the results be announced?

The results will be released online (http://www.montage.sg) after judging has been conducted. If you wish to view the live judging, please click here for more information.

Youth / Open

1. Is there a limit to the maximum number of entries I can submit in this segment?

Yes there is. Each participant is allowed to submit a maximum of 4 photographs according to the theme "What If?"

2. If I am a youth below 25 years of age, can I submit photographs both in Youth and Open Competitions?

Please kindly submit your photographs in either Youth or Open Competition.

Photo Story

1. Can I use the given photograph in another frame other than the first?

No. It is mandatory for the given photograph to be framed as the starting photo.

2. Is there a limit to the number of entries that I can submit for this Photo Story Competition?

No, there is no limit.

3. I would like to form a team with others from other schools. Is it allowed?

Yes, you may. However please note that there will be no points awarded to the school that counts towards the Yip Hoi Kee School Challenge for your team.

4. Do I need to remain in the same team for subsequent submissions?

You are welcomed to form different teams for each submission should you wish to do so.

5. I am a youth who is below 25 years old but is currently not studying in any school. Am I allowed to form my own team and join the Photo Story Competition?
   Yes, you are welcome to take part in the competition.
6. Can I form any story from the starting photograph? Is there any restriction/theme?

Yes, you can. There is no restriction on the story that you can form.

7. Can we repeat the photographs that we submit?

Each photograph submitted should be unique and no repetition of photographs will be allowed.

8. Can we photoshop the photographs?

Yes, you may. However, please note that only minimal digital manipulation(such as cropping) is allowed and adding or removing key elements of the composition may result in disqualification.

Ticketing

1. If I purchase a combination of tickets (such as 2 seminar tickets[student] and 3 workshop tickets[public]), can I still receive the discount?

Yes, a discount of 20% is offered for any purchase of 5 or more tickets. However, please note that there is no further discount given to the workshop package.

2. If I have any queries about ticketing, where should I direct my queries?

Please kindly email us at ticketing@montage.sg. We will revert to you as soon as we can.

Others

1. Is there a requirement for all participants to attend the seminar / workshop in order to join the competition segment?

No, attendance in the seminar / workshop is not compulsory for participation in the competition.

2. I wish to receive Montage 2011 publicity materials (posters and postcard). How should I go about with the request?

If you would like to request for publicity materials to be mailed to you, please email info@montage.sg with the following particulars:
