Montage 2012 returns for its 14th year as the NUSPS flagship event with a
brand new theme -- No Boundaries! This year, we aim to inspire breakthroughs in photography
through an exciting series of competition, workshops and seminar events.
Photographs
have the ability to transcend boundaries, cultures and touch our hearts in
different ways. Through exploration of the theme "No Boundaries”, we hope
to show that photography is not limited to our own imposed limitations.
We
now welcome you to come forward with photo entries that best capture the
essence of "No Boundaries" for the Montage 2012 Photography Competition!
You can choose to take part in the Individual Photos category (Youth
or Open sub-categories), or the Photo Story (Youth) Category. Winners
stand to win attractive prizes from Canon Singapore and Cathay
Photo. Entry submission ends on 20 May 2012 (Sun).
You
can also look forward to the exciting line-up of Montage 2012 seminar and
workshops! The seminar will showcase three established professional
photographers — Nicky Loh, Darren Soh, and Sebastian Tan, who will
speak on topics relating to their expertise on 10 June 2012 (Sun) at
the NTUC Centre Auditorium (One Marina Boulevard).
This
year, the popular Montage workshop series will be held on 16 June 2012
(Sat) at NUS Shaw Foundation Alumni House. They will be conducted
by professional instructors consisting of portrait and strobist expert Alex
Siew, food photographer and blogger Leslie Tay, wedding
photographers Matthew Tan and William Chua, and
advertising photographer Invy Ng.
Do
kindly note that the tickets for the workshops tend to get sold out fast, so
grab your seats early to avoid disappointment!
